The use of horses in pedagogical settings within equine-assisted interventions is steadily increasing. While the positive effects of horses on children are being increasingly confirmed, there is still a lack of studies on the effects of equine-assisted interventions on horses. To address this gap, a participatory observation of human-horse interactions was conducted in an equine pedagogical setting as part of an explorative qualitative field study
