In the study, participants’ heart rate (physiological) and stress levels (psychological) were analysed in an equine-assisted coaching session (N=72 people). A heart rate measurement was given to the participants. Respondents in test group 1 (tg1, n1=37) took part in horse-assisted coaching, respondents in tg2 (n2=35) exercised in the riding arena for 15 minutes. The analyses revealed a significantly lower heart rate in the test subjects, particularly immediately after the horse-assisted intervention. On a psychological level, participants in tg1 showed positive changes in their overall stress experience and in the sub-areas of excessive demands and uncertainty.
